A small stud formed in 1978, with the purchase of the dun filly foal, 60167 Vernal Moonray (Trevallion Dafydd x Vernal Dark Ripple) at the October Builth Wells sale.
At present we have 2 of Moonray’s daughters, the dun 100720 Corscaron Desert Maid by Derwen Desert Express no 24420, and the palomino 110724 Corscaron Candlelight by Trevallion Tyrone no 31362 (Tyhen Comet x Degla Rosina)

Moonray’s 1984 dun filly foal Corscaron Moonlight by Geler Carlo, was the highest priced foal sold at the 1984 October Builth Wells sale, to the Tardebigge Stud where she went on to win the yearling class at the 1985 Royal Welsh Show.Moonlight is currently at the Avonvalley Stud, where she is producing excellent stock at 22 years of age.
Moonray’s 1987 dun filly Corscaron Gwawr also by Geler Carlo is currently at Davids Stud, where she is is producing high quality stock, including International champion 3y.o colt Davids Victor Llwyd.

After a few quiet years, in 2005,and after renewed interest from our son Dafydd in breeding cobs, we purchased 2 filly foals Crugybar Mirain Mai (Brenig Byron x Crugybar Manon Mai) and Babiog Rosina (Coednewydd Comet x Babiog Gwyrth. In the 2006 Lampeter Stallion Show Mirain Mai was placed 4th in a very strong yearling class.
At the 2006 Menai reduction sale, Menai Super Lady was added to the stud. We look forward to their first crop of foals.
